Although some restrictions in the UK are being relaxed we are not over the virus yet
Our Transhipping partners are shipping to other countries but Our shipping agents in Thailand and Indonesia are closed
There a chain of companies involved in getting fish etc to the UK
Exporting shipping agent
Exporting government office
Airline Cargo office
Cargo Ground staff at exporting airport
Airline flight staff
Then if there is a stop over on the way to UK
There’s all the staff at that airport
Then uk side is more companies
Airline Cargo handling agent
Customs staff
Defra staff
Cargo agents
Not to mention everyone in flight control towers across the world
So only if the airline is 100% certain all these are staffed and working will they start accepting bookings for live fish etc to the uk
Plus there has to be enough passengers on the flight to make it viable
We are also behind other European countries on the road to recovery after the virus
