UNDERSTANDING INDIRECT ROUTES
When importing through an indirect route, there are additional handling costs that you need to take into account.
EXPORT FEE
Your supplier may need to pay an export fee in their country of origin.
This is often already included in the price of the fish, but you should always check with your supplier before placing your order.
TRANSPORT TO THE THAI HUB
Your supplier may also charge an additional fee to transport the fish from their location to the relevant exporter or Thai hub.
HUSBANDRY & HANDLING FEE
For indirect routes, Kasi will need to:
-
Collect the fish
-
Receive and unpack the shipment
-
House and care for the fish
-
Prepare the fish for the onward UK shipment
A husbandry and handling fee is therefore charged for this service.
